Terms & Conditions
Article 1: Rental
The seasonal rental contract is reserved for the exclusive use of the rental of the Bed and Breakfast.
The best welcome will be reserved for our guests. The owner undertakes to welcome guests with all the attention they need to facilitate their stay and their knowledge of the region.
Article 2: Length of stay
The tenant who signs the contract concluded for a fixed period will not be able to claim any right to remain in the premises at the end of the stay.
Article 3: Conclusion of the contract
The reservation becomes effective as soon as the tenant has sent the owner the deposit provided for on the total amount of the rental, a copy of the contract and the house rules signed at least 14 days before the date of arrival. A second copy is to be kept by the tenant.
The lease concluded between the parties may not under any circumstances, even partially, benefit third parties, natural or legal persons, unless the owner agrees in writing. Any breach of this clause would be liable to result in the immediate termination of the tenancy at the expense of the tenant, the proceeds of the tenancy remaining definitively vested in the landlord.
Article 4: Cancellation by the tenant
Any cancellation must be notified in writing or otherwise to the owner.
a) Cancellation prior to arrival at the premises: The deposit remains with the owner. The latter will keep the balance of the amount of the stay, if the cancellation occurs less than 5 days before the scheduled date of arrival in the premises.
If the tenant does not come forward within 5 hours of the arrival date indicated on the contract, the contract becomes null and void and the owner can dispose of his room. The deposit and the balance of the rental remain with the owner.
b) If the stay is shortened, the rental price remains with the owner. No refunds will be issued.
Article 5: Arrival
The tenant must arrive on the specified day between 4 p.m. and 8 p.m. In case of late or delayed arrival, the tenant must notify the landlord.
Article 6: Payment of the balance
The balance of the rental is paid no later than 2 days before entering the premises. The tenant who has not paid the balance by the agreed date is considered to have cancelled his stay. From then on, the service is offered for sale again and no refund will be made. The balance must also be paid to the owner (see article 4).
Article 7: State of play
An inventory is drawn up jointly and signed by the tenant and the owner or his representative on arrival and departure from the room. This inventory is the only reference in the event of a dispute concerning the state of the premises.
The state of cleanliness of the room on the tenant's arrival must be noted in the inventory of fixtures. The room must remain in a clean condition during the stay.
Article 8: Use of the premises
The tenant must ensure the peaceful nature of the rental and make use of it in accordance with the purpose of the premises. The tenant undertakes to occupy the rented premises personally within the limit of the number of people for whom the room is rented, and to use it peacefully. In particular, furniture and movable objects must only be used for the purpose for which they are intended and in the places where they are located, it is absolutely forbidden for the tenant to transport them outside the accommodation. He shall refrain from making, for any reason whatsoever, any alteration to the existing electricity and water in the rented premises, and undertakes to have immediately carried out at his own expense any repairs that may be made necessary by the misuse of these installations. Under no circumstances may he/she sublet all or part of the rented premises. The tenant will be liable for any damage or loss that may occur during the term of the contract in the rented property, unless he can prove that they have occurred due to force majeure, the fault of the landlord, or the act of a third party whom he has not introduced into the property.
